Parmesan Potato Sticks

Parmesan Potato Sticks

The Midwest girl in me has come out in this recipe! I spiced up the normal potato side dish with some  butter, cheese and bread crumbs! It’s easy, it adds tons of flavor, and is really fun to serve!

Parmesan Potato Sticks

2 pounds russet potatoes

½ c. butter, melted

½ c. fine dry bread crumbs

½ c. grated Parmesan cheese

½ tsp. salt

1/8 tsp. garlic powder

1/8 tsp. black pepper

Scrub potatoes; cut lengthwise into quarters. Cut each quarter into 3 strips. Roll in melted butter, then roll in combined remaining ingredients. Place potato sticks in a single layer on a cookie sheet. Drizzle melted butter over potatoes. Bake at 400° for 30-35 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

Mic-Tip – Never soak vegetables after slicing; the will lose much of their nutritional value.
