Wild Blueberry Crisp

A Blueberry cobbler, easy recipe for the the family!

Summer nights call for quick and easy recipes. With a dish full of one of the Top 10 super foods its bound to be a hit! Topped off with a classic crumble topping and a scoop of ice cream, its perfect for your summer family gathering!


Wild Blueberry Crisp


Blueberry Mixture:

8 c. blueberries

½ c. flour

1 c. sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon



2 c. flour

1 ½ c. oats

1 ½ c. brown sugar

½ tsp. salt

3/8 tsp. baking soda

2 sticks butter, cut into pieces


Preheat oven to 350°. Mix together blueberries, flour, sugar, and cinnamon. Pour into a 9x13inch baking dish. Set aside. In a mixing bowl with paddle attachment, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, salt, baking soda and mix on low speed until combined. Add the butter and mix on low until the butter is slightly incorporated and the mix begins to form small balls. Sprinkle the crisp topping evenly over the blueberry mixture. Place the baking dish on another larger sheet pan to catch any drips while baking. Bake for 45 minutes or until bubbling in the center. If the crisp topping is browning too quickly, cover with foil and continue to bake until bubbling. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream!
